Hi All!
Well, after a sleepless night we had a wonderful day. We went this morning to the care center for the goodbye ceremony and to finally take the kids with us permanently. Then we had the embassy appointment this afternoon, which couldn't have gone better! We were at the window for about 2 minutes and that was it - he's got a visa. Now we have just been back at the guest house eating dinner and just playing with all the kids.. Kai is a dream. He napped a little, ate a little and is as content as a bug in a rug. He loves the Bjorn (thanks Val!) and at this point really is THE perfect baby.. now lets see how our first night with him goes :)
So glad we are over the hump of all the legalities and this boy is not only ours on paper, but ours in our hearts.
Love to all, can't wait for you to meet Musse!

I am very excited to meet him as well. Good Luck with the first night.
I am so glad you are having an amazing trip. Can't wait to see you! Good luck tonight!
:)
Sis and Ben, I wish I could be there with you. We are so blessed to be born where we were and I'm trying to stress that to Kalli. Kalli can't wait to help you with Musse(Kai). All our love & prayers,
Rich
Hi guys! What wonderful news to celebrate...that all the legalities are done & your family is all together tonight. Now it's time to get down to the nitty gritty -- being parents :)
All the best to you and we can't wait to hear more about Kai!
Much love-
Val, Rob & Eva
We're leaving home in 12 1/2 hours--I can hardly believe that we're going to be doing the same things you're doing! It has been amazing to read about your trip, to hear about Musse, and to know that we will next see each other with our sons finally home in our arms.
I'm amazed! I'm tempted to take a trip up to see you just to see that little guy...yea!!!
Congratulations! Glad everything is going well. God Bless!

Hi guys, what an inspiring and moving story. You are so privileged just to have gone through this. I have told numerous people about this whole experience, many of which can't have kids and are now thinking about ethiopia children. I don't think any American can ever truly understand. Good luck with your journey home and remember, no sleepless night is unshared by any parent :) Love ya!
